----- Overview -----
First person puzzle photography game created over 1.5 months for my Game Design I class at Wichita State University. Utilizes Post Processing, Scene Capture, and Cinematic Camera to implement camera controls. Features 3 distinct puzzles that progressively build on the player's knowledge of game mechanics. Game mechanics and design tie into the overall message of the experience.
----Personal Thoughts----
This project was my first real time implementing an iterative loop design pattern into development. I would say that it was a success! Throughout the loops, I felt that I was properly identifying risks and implementing solutions to mitigate them. I tend to try and design everything all at once -- but this process felt very satisfying and I now believe I will use this process for every design from now on. You can read more about my iterative loops in the devlogs here: https://yoshedev.itch.io/frustrum-of-truth
----Landscaping----
This was also my first time using landscaping tools to craft a level. I enjoyed the possibilities that they provided, but also felt limited for what they can accomplish in smaller spaces. I believe a mixture of these landscapes and static meshes for more specific details and form would be ideal for many projects.
---Discussing Design Decisions---
Short video discussing my process working through an iterative loop design pattern. I explain my design decisions and assignment criteria.
